SKY Polymers GmbH processes personal data only where necessary to operate this website, respond to B2B inquiries and manage polymer projects. We use only technically required cookies, no analytics or marketing trackers, and self-hosted fonts.

2. General information

We process personal data only where this is necessary to operate this website, respond to inquiries, handle business communication, prepare and perform contracts, manage customer and supplier relationships, comply with legal obligations and protect legitimate business interests. This website is directed primarily at business customers, suppliers, manufacturers, processors, compounders, OEM suppliers and other professional users in the plastics and polymer industry.

5. Contact form and project inquiry

When you submit a project inquiry, we process the data you enter in the form, including name, company, email address and material/project description. The purpose is to provide a qualified first response — typically within 48 hours — evaluate the technical or commercial nature of your inquiry and decide whether SKY Polymers can support your project. Your inquiry may include technical project data, material specifications, supplier information, application details or production-related information. Please send confidential information only where necessary for the inquiry. Form submissions are transmitted via the form relay service Web3Forms and delivered to our company email.

6. Server log files

When you access this website, our hosting infrastructure automatically processes technical connection data in server log files, in particular: IP address, date and time of access, requested URL, browser type, operating system, referrer URL and access status. Purposes: website delivery, security, troubleshooting and abuse prevention. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.

7. Cookies

This website uses only technically required cookies. In particular, our hosting infrastructure (Cloudflare) sets the cookie __cf_bm for bot detection and abuse protection (lifetime approx. 30 minutes). Legal basis: § 25(2) TDDDG and Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR — technically necessary, no consent required. No analytics cookies, no marketing cookies and no third-party tracking technologies are currently used. Should consent-based tools be introduced in the future, a consent banner will be provided beforehand.

8. Third-party services

This website is hosted via the Lovable platform and delivered through Cloudflare's global content delivery network. Fonts are self-hosted; no connection to external font services takes place. Aggregated, cookie-free server statistics are provided by the hosting platform without personal profiles or cross-site tracking. Form submissions are processed via Web3Forms (form relay). No analytics suites, tag managers, advertising pixels, embedded maps or social media plugins are in use.

9. Recipients

We may share personal data with the following categories of recipients where necessary: hosting providers, IT service providers, email and communication providers, tax advisors, legal advisors, logistics providers, laboratories, technical consultants, compounders, suppliers, customers, cooperating companies, authorities, customs agents and compliance service providers. In project-related cases, information may be shared with selected partners where this is necessary to evaluate material suitability, laboratory testing, formulation development, sourcing, logistics, compounding or supply architecture.

10. Cooperation with NSB Polymers and external partners

SKY Polymers is independent and may cooperate with NSB Polymers or external partners where this benefits a customer project. Where necessary for a project inquiry or contract performance, relevant business contact data and project information may be shared with such partners. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) and Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.

11. International data transfers

Because SKY Polymers works in international polymer sourcing, logistics, testing and supply projects, business contact data or project-related information may be transferred to recipients outside the European Economic Area where required for a specific inquiry or contract. Where personal data is transferred to countries outside the EEA, we use appropriate safeguards where required, such as EU Standard Contractual Clauses or other legally recognized mechanisms.

12. Storage periods

We store personal data only as long as necessary for the respective purpose. Inquiry and communication data may be stored for the duration of the business relationship and for a reasonable follow-up period. Contract, invoice, customs, accounting and tax-relevant data are stored according to statutory retention periods. Technical log files are usually stored only for a limited period unless longer storage is required for security, investigation or legal defense.
