SKY Polymers GmbH was founded in 2022 — not from a business plan on a whiteboard, but from a pattern our team kept hearing in the market: customers wanted more than material moved from A to B. They wanted deeper material knowledge, help with formulations that were failing, and supply that would actually hold when the market moved.

So we built a company for exactly that. A team with fifty years of combined leadership experience across polymer chemistry, additives, quality and worldwide logistics — set up to work as your full service partner, not a price list.

You get people who translate for you.

The plastics industry runs on several languages at once. The processor speaks in cycle times and warpage. The manufacturer speaks in specifications and cost per part. The compounder speaks in recipes and tolling windows. The operator at the machine speaks in what actually happens on the line. Most of your problems live in the gaps between those languages — and closing those gaps is our job.

A network built in direct contact — and deliberately unnamed.

Fifty years of work have built a direct network you get to draw on: more than 50 raw material producers, more than 50 additive and modifier producers, and more than 50 compounders — all in direct contact, not directory entries. You will notice one thing missing from this website: brand names and producer logos. That's on purpose. SKY is not a distributor. Naming favourites would compromise the very independence you hire us for — the freedom to choose the best source, supplier, route and formulation for your project, at the best time for you.

SKY Polymers is a fully independent company. You benefit from a strong partner network — including NSB Polymers, an independent spot and non-prime trading company we cooperate closely with. When NSB's warehousing and spot network accelerates your project, we use it. When an external provider fits your project better, we use that instead. Your interest decides — always.
